  • Goods: Items or possessions that the Customer wishes to transport.

2. Booking and Confirmation

To book our services, customers must provide accurate and complete information at the time of booking. Upon successful booking, a confirmation will be sent to the customer via the provided contact method. Bookings are only confirmed once the confirmation is sent.

3. Pricing and Payment

Our pricing is based on the volume of goods, distance, and specific requirements outlined during booking. All prices are subject to change without prior notice, but any such changes will be communicated promptly. Payment must be made in full before or upon completion of the service, using the accepted payment methods.

4. Cancellation Policy

Customers may cancel their booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled service without incurring any fees. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the service may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total service cost.

5. Responsibilities of the Service Provider

We commit to:

  • Providing reliable and punctual transportation services.
  • Ensuring that our vans are in good working condition and adequately maintained.
  • Respecting the privacy and property of our customers.

6. Responsibilities of the Customer

Customers are responsible for:

  • Packing and labeling all goods securely before transport.
  • Ensuring that all items are safe to move and do not pose a hazard.
  • Notifying the service provider of any fragile or valuable items requiring special handling.

7. Liability and Insurance

While we take utmost care in handling your goods, the service provider is not liable for any loss or damage caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters or accidents. We recommend that customers obtain adequate insurance coverage for their goods prior to transport. The service provider offers limited liability coverage, details of which will be provided upon request.

8. Access and Entry

The customer must ensure that the service provider has suitable access to both the pickup and drop-off locations. This includes providing any necessary keys, codes, or permissions required to access the property. Failure to provide adequate access may result in additional charges or the cancellation of the service.

9. Scheduling and Delays

We strive to adhere to the agreed-upon schedule. However, unforeseen circumstances such as traffic congestion, adverse weather conditions, or vehicle breakdowns may cause delays. In such cases, we will communicate the delay to the customer as promptly as possible.

10. Changes to the Service

Any changes to the agreed-upon service must be communicated and agreed upon by both parties in advance. This includes alterations to the pickup or drop-off locations, changes in the number of items, or modifications to the schedule. Additional charges may apply for significant changes.

11. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from being transported:

  • Hazardous materials such as flammable, explosive, or toxic substances.
  • Perishable goods that require special temperature control.
  • Illegal items as defined by local, state, or federal laws.
  • Animals, unless specifically agreed upon in writing.

12. Force Majeure

The service provider shall not be held liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these terms due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, riots, fire, flood, or government restrictions.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement in the event of a breach of these terms. Termination must be communicated in writing, and any outstanding fees for services rendered up to the point of termination will remain payable.

14. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service is provided, specifically Hammersmith regulations.

15. Amendments

The service provider reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes, and continued use of the services will constitute acceptance of the amended terms.

16. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the customer and the service provider regarding the use of the Hammersmith Man with Van services, superseding any prior agreements or understandings.

18. Acceptance of Terms

By booking and utilizing our services, customers agree to abide by all the terms and conditions outlined above. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.
